Data controller’s provision of information to the person concerned when obtaining the personal data
1. The personal data received is obtained by:

2. The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of article 6.1 of the General Data Protection Regulation:
(a) the consent of the person concerned, or
(b) the need to perform a contract to which the person concerned is a party, or
(c) the need to comply with a legal obligation to which Trenker Laboratories is subject
3.1 Trenker Laboratories uses the data made available to it through the consent of the persons concerned in order to enable the latter to use the services and products offered by Trenker Laboratories. Trenker Laboratories uses data that is sufficient, relevant and restricted in terms of what is required for the purposes for which it is being processed.
3.2 Trenker Laboratories undertakes to refrain in all circumstances from communicating this personal data to third parties or using it for anything other than the optimisation and improvement of the products and services offered by Trenker Laboratories developed within the context of its corporate purpose.
4.The personal data is intended for the Trenker Laboratories departments involved in performing or managing the service used by the person concerned.
5.1 The personal data shall be stored for as long as the person concerned is using the Trenker product or service and until this person stops using the service.
5.2 After this period, the personal data will be deleted unless it must be stored in accordance with a legal requirement and/or in the public interest. For these purposes, Trenker Laboratories is establishing technical and organisational measures to ensure, most notably, respect for the principle of data minimisation.
6.The person concerned shall have the right to ask Trenker Laboratories to correct or delete his/her personal data, to limit its processing, to object to it being processed and to exercise his/her right to information and his/her right to data portability.
7.1 In the event that the data processing is being carried out on the basis of the consent of the person concerned, the person concerned shall have the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time by asking Trenker Laboratories to delete his/her personal data, without detriment to the legality of the consent-based processing carried out prior to the removal of consent. To withdraw consent, an individual need only contact firstname.lastname@example.org
7.2 Trenker Laboratories shall respond to this request, to the extent that the deletion does not constitute a violation of any legal obligation requiring the processing to which Trenker Laboratories is subject. Deletion is not possible where processing is deemed to be in the public interest within the domain of public health.
7.3 Where Trenker Laboratories is required to delete personal data that it has previously made public, Trenker Laboratories, given the available technologies and implementation costs, shall take reasonable measures, including technical measures, to inform the data controllers who are processing this personal data that the person concerned has requested that these data controllers delete all links to this personal data, and any copies or reproductions of the latter.
8.The person concerned shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Belgium, this authority is the Data Protection Authority (DPA:https://www.privacycommission.be)
9.1 In the event that the data is being processed on the basis of the conditions included in article 2.2 of the General Data Protection Regulation, the provision of personal data is a prerequisite for the conclusion of a contract in which this is a statutory or contractual requirement. The person concerned is required to provide the personal data.
9.2 If the person concerned does not provide the personal data, he/she cannot use the services in question offered by Trenker Laboratories.
10.Where Trenker Laboratories intend to carry out subsequent processing of personal data for a purpose other than that for which the personal data was originally collected, Trenker Laboratories shall first provide the person concerned with information on this other purpose and all other relevant information.
